Easter Ideas for Kids

How is it almost Easter?! Then again, how is it not December already? In all seriousness, I am feeling so behind on Easter shopping for Poppy. It just snuck upon us in the midst of all this chaos.

Since we’re social distancing, I attempted to do all of my Easter shopping from my couch this year. Unfortunately, that was a fail. I knew shipping was backed up, but I didn’t realize HOW backed up it is. Needless to say, nothing I wanted to order her would make it in time.

The good news is, all hope is not is lost if you’re in the last minute boat with me! There are some stores offering pickup, so you can get what you need there. There are also some really cute activities from Pinterest you can do that won’t require going to the store for supplies.

Pickup Options

Target:

Target has so many fun things for Easter. As a bonus, they have a deal where if you spend $100 on toys you save $25, or if you spend $50 on toys you save $10.

Their stock seems to be pretty good too, at least here in Utah. If you haven’t used their drive-up option before, simply add it to your basket and select “drive-up” as your delivery method.

It will let you pick your store location, and then it will give you an estimated time of when your order will be ready. If the item is not in stock at the usual location you go to, try checking other stores nearby.

Walmart:

Walmart has a pickup option too, although you have to book a specific time slot, and they fill up really fast. If you’re wanting to do a pickup order from here, my advice is to jump on it asap.

Similar to Target, it gives you the option to navigate through different store locations. So if a store doesn’t have what you’re looking for, be sure to check out another one close by.
